LAS VEGAS. - January 9, 2018 - IOGEAR, a manufacturer of innovative information technology products for consumers and small- to medium-sized businesses, today announced the addition of the GFR3C11 Compact USB-C 2-in-1 SD & MicroSD Card Reader/Writer and GFR3C12 USB-C Duo Card Reader/Writer to its comprehensive portfolio of USB-C connectivity products. The innovative GFR3C12 (MSRP $14.95), which supports both USB-C Android mobile devices and USB-C-enabled computers, permits users to transfer data and images between mobile devices and computers. Supporting USB On-The-Go (OTG) technology, the GFR3C12 facilitates file transfers to and from SD and MicroSD cards, and between USB-C-enabled Android mobile devices and laptops with USB Type-A, USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 ports.
The lightweight and portable GFR3C11 (MSRP $12.95) is a 2-in-1 SD and MicroSD Card Reader/Writer that connects to USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 ports on a laptop enabling users to easily transfer files to or from an SD or MicroSD card. The SD slot is compatible with multiple card types including SDHC, MMC, RS-MMC, SDXC, and UHS-I, and the MicroSD slot supports SDHC and Micro SDHX without the need for additional adapters.
